Two monsoons, four patch jobs by three different contractors, and the top-floor flats were still getting damp patches every June. The problem was never the membrane — it was the detailing at the parapet junction.

Finding the actual leak

A ponding test isolated the failure to the parapet-to-slab joint and two corroded drain outlets. We cut back to sound concrete, rebuilt the fillet, and only then laid a full polyurethane membrane with a UV-stable topcoat.
